Spray Direct is a leading supplier of high-quality paint spray equipment and products, trusted by professionals and DIY enthusiasts across the UK. Known for its premium product range and reliable service, the brand wanted to improve online efficiency and drive stronger sales performance through Google Ads.

When Spray Direct partnered with us, the objective was to scale results without increasing spend, boost purchase value, and achieve greater return on ad spend.

What We Did.

Our goal was to improve efficiency and maximise return without increasing spend. To achieve this, we restructured Spray Direct’s Google Ads account around data-driven insights and product performance.
We began by reallocating the budget, reducing brand campaign spending, and focusing investment on areas that deliver the most substantial commercial returns.

Next, we enhanced audience targeting within Performance Max, introducing structured audience signals to improve ad relevance and reach higher-value customers. At the same time, we conducted an extensive keyword optimisation, removing over 1,000 underperforming search terms to tighten focus and drive traffic.

We also refined ad messaging, developing segmented copy that highlighted Spray Direct’s unique selling points, such as professional-grade performance, reliability, and value, to encourage engagement across product categories.

Finally, we implemented a profitability-led segmentation strategy, introducing new campaign structures based on product-level performance. This allowed us to prioritise spend towards SKUs with the highest commercial impact, ensuring the account was not only more efficient but also strategically aligned with business goals.

What we achieved together in 3 months:

1 %

1 %

Zenith Bank UK provides fixed-term savings products for UK-based savers aged 40–70 who value stability, trust, and competitive returns. Positioned as a credible alternative to both traditional building societies and emerging banks, Zenith Bank UK offers market-leading interest rates and a straightforward online savings experience.

When Zenith Bank UK partnered with us, their goal was to grow direct deposit inflows through their savings platform and increase awareness of their high-interest fixed-term deposit products.

What We Did.

Our strategy centred on precision, performance, and timing. With consumer interest in savings products surging during the summer months, we identified an opportunistic window to capture demand.

We increased ad spend by 50% and strategically shifted the budget mix to give a larger share to Performance Max. This allowed us to reach savers across multiple touchpoints while Search campaigns focused on capturing high-intent queries. Together, Search and Performance Max created a connected journey.

Our team continuously refined targeting, creative, and keyword strategy to ensure visibility among audiences actively seeking competitive savings rates. We optimised towards deposit conversions and funnel engagement, using data-backed insights to maximise efficiency without compromising the quality of potential leads.

This full-funnel approach not only improved acquisition performance but also strengthened Zenith’s brand position in a highly competitive financial domain.

In 3 months, we achieved the following:

The Results.

1 %

Increase in overall leads through marketing activity.

1 %

Increase in short-term savings product leads.

1 %

Willow London is a property management company that offers guaranteed rent schemes to landlords in London. These schemes ensure consistent income and zero void periods.

As a lead generation business in a competitive sector, Willow London needed a performance-driven paid media strategy that could consistently attract high-quality landlord leads and scale effectively, without inflating costs.

imac willow london

What We Did.

Our Paid Social and PPC teams collaborated to build a lead-gen funnel that spoke directly to landlords, highlighting Willow London’s no-hassle, guaranteed rent offer. Using platform-specific creative strategies and targeted campaigns, we focused on quality over volume to deliver real business value.

We launched tightly structured Search campaigns focused on high-intent keywords related to guaranteed rent. By excluding irrelevant queries and low-quality traffic, our strategy made certain that only the most qualified leads were captured. This precision targeting drove performance gains in both lead volume and cost efficiency, ensuring every click had the potential to convert.

On Meta, our strategy revolved around creative-led performance, which entailed continuously testing, mixing, and optimising image and video ads. We soon identified what resonated with Willow London’s landlord audience by systematically rotating formats, creatives, and messaging styles. This creative testing approach wasn’t just about aesthetics; it became a key driver behind the drop in CPL and boost in engagement metrics.

Here’s what we achieved YoY:

The Results.

1 %

Increase in total leads.

1 %

Conversion Rate across Google Ads.

1 %

Decrease in Meta Ads cost per lead.

Superbowl UK is the country’s third-largest bowling alley operator, proudly known as The Ultimate Family Entertainment Centre. With 11 venues (and growing), they offer a combination of ten-pin bowling, laser quest, arcades, soft play, and casual dining, catering to families, teens, and groups looking for all-in-one entertainment.

With ambitious expansion plans, they needed a hands-on marketing partner who could support everyday growth and high-impact campaigns, covering everything from paid and organic content to email, venue launches, and branded shoots.

What We Did.

Our approach blended geo-targeted paid social, organic content, performance-driven email marketing, and on-site content creation. Each channel aligned with Superbowl UK’s brand tone and commercial objectives, ensuring consistency across venues and campaigns, from evergreen bookings to one-off events like Sonic On Tour.

Paid Social.

Across Meta platforms, we ran a mix of evergreen and tactical campaigns designed to increase footfall and bookings. Each campaign was geo-fenced around individual venues, with creatives tailored to location-specific offers, local events, and ease-of-access (including in-ad maps).

We also developed video content and carousels showcasing everything from bowling to burgers, filmed and edited by our in-house team.

Campaigns included:

  • Venue-specific limited-time offers
  • Support for national campaigns
  • High-energy video ads aligned with family-friendly messaging
  • Carousel creatives promoting venue features and weekly offers
  • Always-on brand awareness layered with conversion-focused tactics

Here’s what we achieved through paid social over the course of 6 months:

Organic Social.

We implemented a video-first strategy across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, prioritising snackable content formats and leaning into post-school/work engagement windows. Content was built around weekly offers, event countdowns, user-generated content, BTS footage from venue launches, and staff-led pieces.

Our tone balanced fun, energy, and local relevance, helping us build familiarity while pushing bookings. We also aligned organic and paid activity to create a cohesive brand narrative across all touchpoints.

Here’s what we achieved through organic social:

Facebook (Jan–June)

Instagram (April–July)

Email Marketing.

We designed and sent out fully branded email campaigns across Superbowl UK’s locations, with eye-catching visuals and clear calls to action tailored to each venue’s offers and events. Venue-level segmentation allowed us to tailor subject lines, offers, and content for maximum relevance, keeping Superbowl UK at the top of inboxes.

Whether launching a new location, promoting Valentine’s Day, or building hype for National Pizza Day, each email helped reinforce brand awareness while driving bookings.

Pet Corrector, developed by Company of Animals, is a globally trusted product designed to help correct unwanted dog behaviours safely and effectively. It is recommended by dog trainers and pet behaviourists and it works by emitting a harmless hissing sound to interrupt behaviours like barking, jumping up, or stealing food.

With millions of units sold worldwide, Pet Corrector is recognised as an essential training aid for pet owners looking to make a positive change in their pets’ behaviour.

What We Did.

Rather than driving traffic directly to a brand-owned website, Pet Corrector partnered with a trusted network of retail partners to make the buying journey easy for customers. At The Good Marketer, our objective was to boost brand visibility and drive high-intent traffic directly to these retailers to boost conversions.

We carried out customer persona research to better understand the U.S. market’s buying behaviours and their mindset. After this, we identified key messaging pillars that resonated most strongly with dog owners, particularly around safety during outdoor activities and effective behaviour correction.

Through a series of creative tests, we discovered that messaging and copy that aligned with “Dog Walks” seemed to perform the best, so we then focused our ad spend towards these high-performing creatives.

Ultimately, this combination of focused audience research, refined messaging, and strategic budget scaling led to a highly cost-effective campaign, delivering outstanding traffic results to trusted U.S. retail partners.

East Pizzas were already on board with us as a client when they decided they wanted to expand their wholesale offering, having a stand-alone site that emulated the feel of a ‘second business’ for wholesale orders.

When we began working on their wholesale site, they already had their branding from their B2C website, and they wanted their new site to mirror that look and feel.

What We Did.

We wanted to create a website for East Pizzas Wholesale that had all the credibility they already had with the existing B2C offering, but make it clear this new site was solely for B2B wholesale customers or those who wanted to order in bulk.

Zoomadog is an online pet store specialising in medical and mobility aids for dogs. Their product range supports pets recovering from surgery, managing injury, or facing age-related conditions, with tailored solutions for dogs of all breeds and sizes.

While the brand had seen promising early results on Meta, it was struggling to scale campaigns effectively, especially when launching new products or trying to maintain profitability as spending increased.

What We Did.

We built a performance-led Meta strategy to help Zoomadog scale efficiently while increasing sales and customer retention. After auditing their existing campaigns, we focused on high-ROI products and restructured the account to prioritise what was already working. We repurposed organic content into ads that converted, introduced user-generated content to build trust, and expanded the product mix from two to seven promoted items.

To support long-term growth, we developed new creative concepts and messaging angles, implemented a full-funnel structure to capture interest at every stage, and positioned Meta as the brand’s primary channel for performance marketing.
